Road and public utility development

The road and public utility branch of Belfry PE is involved primarily in national public road project implementations and in the construction and reconstruction of roads in the maintenance of municipalities.

The main profile of our branch is the execution of utility relocations, the construction of traffic engineering and life safety facilities, which we always realise in accordance with the requirements of the concerned Operators, Service providers and Clients, and in compliance with the technical regulations and standards. A great amount of professional know-how and experience is necessary to manage and fulfil these requirements, and our colleagues possess these and can use and utilise them perfectly in the course of their work

M85 EXPRESSWAY BETWEEN CSORNA-SOPRON - SECTION 1

As a consortium member, we work as a main contractor on a 20,050 m long section, starting from Phase II of the Csorna bypass, which is one of our earlier projects already handed over to the public traffic. Our task is the replacement of infocommunication, low, medium and high voltage power lines, water-sewerage, medium and high pressure gas pipes, railway overhead power lines, railway telecommunication and signal box cables (49 facilities in total), the development of an operational infocommunication system and power supply, and the installation of horizontal and vertical signage, road restraint systems and road accessories. In order to ensure safe traffic, we also have to build a roadside barrier on both sides of the main track. There are 36 months for the project implementation.

M2 EXPRESSWAY BETWEEN BUDAPEST - VÁC

As a subcontractor, our task is the replacement of infocommunication, low, medium and high voltage power lines, water-sewerage, medium and high pressure gas pipes, railway overhead power lines (45 facilities in total), the development of an operational infocommunication system power supply, and the installation of road restraint systems, the demolition of 3 portal frames and the construction of 15 portal frames. In order to ensure safe traffic, we have to build a roadside barrier on both sides of the main track of 19,615 m length. There are 29 months for the execution of our tasks. It makes our work more difficult that this is not a greenfield development so we have to do the work while ensuring the safe public road traffic.

ROAD CONNECTION ON THE HUNGARIAN SIDE OF THE DANUBE BRIDGE BETWEEN KOMÁROM - KOMÁRNO

As a subcontractor our task is to prepare the contract documentation of an operational infocommunication system, and the development of it, in conjunction with the portal frames and the variable message signs. The peculiarity of the project is the data forwarding takes place via microwave connection. The integration into the traffic management system of Magyar Közút Nzrt., the installation of and providing training on the appropriate software and hardware components are also parts of the execution which we will successfully achieve in cooperation with specialised subcontractors. The period of the execution is 20 months.

  • 6.5 sqm of dotted surface LED display signs will be installed.
  • 112,159 sqm of roadside barrier.
AJKA TOWN AREA

The term of the framework agreement is 48 months, to be spent on the implementation of civil engineering works in Ajka town, the repair and development of paved and unpaved roads, cycle routes, car parks, sidewalks out of and within municipal boundaries, on kerb and ditch works, the refurbishment and installation of rainwater drainage, the development of public utilities, the development of the telecommunication network, and the preparation and implementation of a CCTV surveillance system. Many road and sideway sections have been repaired with the corresponding water discharge, and we have also refurbished and built multiple car parks. We built cycle-lane or road between Ajka-Bakonygyepes, along road no. 8401, between km sections 0+200 – 0+373.

  • 3,263 t of asphalt pavement,
  • 7,710 sqm of exposed aggregate pavement,
  • 7,030 m of kerb pavement.
